Discover Your Wild Side!

MountainSide Petting Farm provides a wonderful place for people of all ages to learn about farm animals!  We are conveniently located in beautiful Afton, Virginia, a popular vacation area or day trip destination.  Bring your whole family to meet our family of donkeys, mini horses, baby doll and Jacob sheep, peacocks, turkeys, roosters, ducks, wallabee, pot bellied pigs, Pygmy and Nigerian goats and, of course, Wally our wonderful albino wallaby.  Meet Buddy our gentle draft horse we rescued from a slaughterhouse.  You just have to meet Chloe, our beautiful camel; she celebrated her second birthday in January.  Chloe is now almost seven feet tall and loves to give kisses!   COME ON OUT AND HELP US NAME OUR BABY COW; BORN JULY 30th.  NAMES WILL BE DRAWN AT THE HOE DOWN.

              We invite you to bring your lunch to picnic in the woods, hang out                      in the red barn or just enjoy a fun filled day.  Ask us how you can reserve
